How SpamDuster learns
SpamDuster learns from the corrections you make on the Mail page of the console. Each correction teaches the filter about mail like that message, so it gets more accurate for your mail over time. Corrections do not move or deliver anything on their own; the console tells you what each one does before you confirm.
Spam that reached a mailbox
- On the Mail page of the console, open the Accepted folder and find the message.
- Select Mark spam and confirm.
The filter learns to block mail like it. If it was phishing, select Report phishing as well.
Wanted mail that was blocked
- On the Mail page of the console, open the folder that holds the message, for example Spam.
- Select Not spam and confirm.
Not spam only teaches the filter; it does not deliver the message. To deliver it too, select Release + not spam. See Release a blocked message.
