SpamDuster Cloud or On-Premise?

Both run the same filtering; the difference is who runs the server. Cloud includes a number of domains and email addresses per plan, with expansion packs for more; On-Premise includes unlimited domains and mailboxes on each licensed mail server with a supported control panel, with domain packs for the rest. SpamDuster Cloud, run by us on Linode, and SpamDuster On-Premise Inbound, which you run yourself, are available now; On-Premise Outbound is coming soon.

The difference in one line

SpamDuster Cloud and SpamDuster On-Premise run the same filter; with Cloud we run the server, with On-Premise you do.

Choose SpamDuster Cloud when

  • you want inbound filtering without running another machine;
  • you want us to run the server for you.

Choose On-Premise when

  • filtering must run on your own infrastructure or in your own cloud account;
  • you need to filter the mail your servers send, which only SpamDuster On-Premise Outbound does.
  • you have several mail servers to protect: a SpamDuster Cloud filter protects one mail server, while On-Premise is licensed per mail server.

On-Premise Inbound is available now; On-Premise Outbound is coming soon. See SpamDuster On-Premise Inbound and SpamDuster On-Premise Outbound.

How to order

Order SpamDuster Cloud or order SpamDuster On-Premise Inbound in the PortWall billing portal. Both editions run the same filter and the same console, so what you learn on one applies to the other.
